Sad cowgirl songs of the West.

Bio

Caroline Whyte is a woman with a heart for country romance. As a singer-songwriter based in the mountains of Canmore, Alberta, she draws inspiration from the rugged landscapes of the West to craft poetic and transfixing work that conjures a stillness in the room.

Her haunting, angelic voice evokes the cool relief of canyon breezes and the rustle of spring grasses, transporting listeners to long days in the saddle and nights in dusty cabins. In her forthcoming debut EP (2024),  Whyte chronicles a journey of heartbreak and second chances through the eyes of a modern cowgirl. Written in a barn loft apartment in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, her carefully constructed stories of self-reckoning, healing, and redemption explore the depths of the Western experience.

An emerging storyteller with Americana/folk-pop influences like Maggie Rogers, Margo Cilker, Angel Olsen, Sylvan Esso, and Townes Van Zandt, Caroline Whyte is a voice to watch.
